How do I authorise my Oxford plug-in for use with my iLok key ?

When you first register your Oxford plug-in, you will be asked to submit your iLok User ID, which registers the plug-in with iLok and deposits the licence into the specified iLok account.

You should log onto your iLok account and download the licence to your iLok.

We strongly advise that you insert your iLok (with the appropriate licence) into a spare USB port, BEFORE you install the plug-in software using the installers provided from your download URL.  The installer may require the presence of a valid iLok authorisation/plug-in licence to allow the software installation to proceed.

IMPORTANT : Always ensure that you have a valid iLok inserted when you launch your DAW application for the first time after installing your Oxford plug-in.  Failure to do this may lead to your DAW 'black-listing' your new plug-in, which will require a "plug-in re-scan" to rectify.  Different DAW applications re-scan using different methods.  Please check with the manufacturer's instructions, or click on 'More information' for further advice.

Inserting an authorised iLok into a USB port on any system that has the correct version of plug-in software installed, will subsequently authorise the plug-in for use.
